I鈥檝e been balancing my role as Operations and Human Resources Coordinator after completing my associate鈥檚 degree in business. Now I鈥檓 pursuing my bachelor鈥檚 in human resources management here at Herzing. This path has been both challenging and rewarding, and it has allowed me to apply classroom knowledge directly to my workplace responsibilities.
Recently, I attended a huge convention in Nashville as a representative in my HR role. This was a national business conference that brought together thousands of small business owners, managers, and entrepreneurs in the home-service industry. The event focuses on leadership, operations, marketing and growth strategies. It gave me the chance to connect my HR studies directly with real-world practices. I even created a professional HR quote and paired it with a photo from the event, which reflects my belief that HR isn鈥檛 about stability but about challenging teams to grow in the right direction.
I believe this experience really highlights not just my growth, but also how Herzing equips students to take what they learn in the classroom and carry it into leadership and professional opportunities.
